The 2014 Grammy nominees for Best Pop Solo Performance come from a range of singers. Whether it's a former boy bander-turned-solo-success or a New Zealand newcomer, these artists represent the best pop music has to offer. Sara Bareilles, Lorde, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake are all contenders for the honor. Who do you think should win the Grammy?

Sara Bareilles inspired confidence in us with her single 'Brave.' With lyrics encouraging listeners to speak their feelings and stand up for what they believe in, Sara created the catchiest anthem to hit airwaves this year.

Lorde may not be interested in materialism, but her breakout hit, 'Royals' skyrocketed her to world-wide fame. The track's catchy beat, coupled with the teen's low, raspy voice, made a staple for every playlist. With 2013 under her belt, there's no telling what the singer can conquer this year.

Bruno Mars is no stranger to radio-friendly hits. From 'The Way You Are' to 'Gorilla,' he's perfected the balance of retro energy. 'When I Was Your Man’ is no exception. Bruno's heartfelt vocals definitely bring the emotion.

Following a rough year, Katy Perry returned to the pop music scene with a 'Roar' -- literally. Despite its tongue-in-cheek video, 'Roar' has a message of not backing down and staying true to oneself. KP reinvented herself with this album -- and we love it.

After sporting his "suit and tie" with Jay Z, Justin Timberlake got personal with 'Mirrors.' The song shows the singer's vulnerable side, while he admits that his better half makes him a better person.
