If you're anything like me, you grew up watching Judd Nelson trash the nerd in Breakfast Club, or "Long Duck Dong" wake up hung over on the lawn after a night out with the youth of America.

Those were the days. That is back when they made movies that you would watch over and over, and I did. Now, anytime I see one of those movies on television I instantly begin quoting them till my wife hits me in the arm.

I don't think it was just the acting and casting that I loved about those movies. It was definitely the music. Below are five songs from movies that will be stuck in my head forever. Feel free and let me know if I'm lame.

El Debarge 'Who's Johnny?' - Short Circuit

Bananarama 'Cruel Summer' - Karate Kid

DeBarge 'Rythm of the Night' - Last Dragon

Simple Minds 'Don't You, Forget About Me' - Breakfast Club

Peter Gabriel 'In Your Eyes' - Say Anything
