Breastfeeding in public is often a touchy subject.  There have been countless protests and debates about the subject, but when this mom posted a picture of her breastfeeding at her graduation, the internet went into a rage!

Twenty-five year old Karlesha Thurman found out she was pregnant her senior year of college.  Instead of dropping out, she used her baby as motivation to finish and become successful.  During her graduation, her baby was hungry so the young mother did what any mom would do and fed her.  The only difference is that she took a picture and shared it on social media.

You see, Karlesha breastfeeds her baby.  So when she posted the picture, the controversy began!  She was called all kinds of names and told that it was inappropriate to breastfeed in public and especially during her graduation ceremony.

Thurman said that she isn't letting anything get to her because she is proud that she graduated and that her daughter motivated her.

"I found out I was pregnant my last year of college, had my daughter one week into my last semester, she was my motivation to keep going, so me receiving my BA was OUR moment, so glad I captured the moment and so glad you shared it with the world so thank you again."

Now I understand that this is a proud moment for her, but is she kind of ruining it for the other graduates?  If you worked really hard to get through college and then saw the girl next to you breastfeeding how would you handle it?

This is what she shared.  So do you think this inappropriate or are people just taking it too far?
