Looking at the calendar, can you believe we are already a week into 2019? Where has the time gone?

How are those New Years Resolutions going? One of the most common resolutions is to lose weight. Is that yours? Are you trying to be healthier in 2019? Are you getting outside more and walking around Amarillo?

Maybe you are taking the dogs for a walk around Medi Park. Maybe you are doing a lot of walking inside Westgate Mall. Whatever you are doing to stay healthy in this New Year. Are you still succeeding?

If eating healthy and using that word "diet" is part of your New Years Resolutions.....here is a list of items that you need to avoid. These are the foods that seem to kill a diet. Are you strong enough to just say no to these?

Number one on the list is for those of you with a sweet tooth. Can you avoid chocolate and other candies?

Maybe salt is your downfall? Chips are second on the list of diet killers.

One of my mortal enemies when I am dieting (including now) is pizza! It is fourth on the list. All that oooey gooey cheese and beautiful toppings. It is hard to say no to when you are trying to eat healthy.

Which leads us to more sweets that have made the list. Cake and Cookies finished seventh and 8th on the list. We all know both of those items are easy to find around the workplace. Are you strong enough to avoid?

Coming in at number ten on the list is another food item that gives me pains while dieting.....and that is a burger? I can seem to say no to the sweets and snacks. I like the good meals (ok the bad for me meals) pizza and burgers.

Another item that didn't make the list that I am already in withdrawals from is the good ol' chicken fried steak. Along with the great cream gravy that goes with it. I am really into those comfort foods.
