Amarillo Lane Closures – Week of August 10th

As we embark upon a new week, we just want you to be prepared for what you may experience on your commute Monday morning. Getting stuck in traffic is never a fun thing, especially if you are running late for work on Monday morning. Here is a list of lane closures from the Texas Department of Transportation.

• I-27, expect lane closures northbound from 26th Street to downtown for patching.
• Southbound I-27, expect lane closures on Wednesday coming from Pierce and Taylor Streets downtown to the I-40 interchange for bridge repair
• I-40, expect various lane closures in both directions from Coulter Street to Pullman Street for patching.
• I-27, expect lane closures in both directions from Loop 335 (Hollywood) to Rockwell Road for cable barrier repair.
• I-40, expect lane closures in the westbound right lane from Coulter to Loop 335 (Soncy) for the next few weeks for ramp construction.
• RM 1061 (Boys Ranch Road), expect lane closures in both directions at various locations from the Potter County line to RM 2381 for patching.
• Loop 335 (Soncy), expect various lane closures in both directions from 45th Street to 34th Street for an ADA ramp project.
• Southeast Loop 335 and Georgia Street, access to northbound Georgia Street is closed to prepare the roadway for an overpass project. Motorists are being detoured to Western Street and Farmers Avenue.
