Amarillo Lane Closures Week of December 21st

Here we are, we have stepped into Christmas week. Look for traffic to get crazy as people finish up their last minute shopping. Look for lots of people traveling this week, and with that said, here are the list of lane closures in the area from the Texas Department of Transportation.

• I-27, expect lane closures southbound at various locations between Bell Street and 45th Street for crack sealing.
• I-40, expect continued lane closures in both directions at various locations between Pullman and the I-27 Interchange for patching.
  US 60, expect continued lane closures westbound between Loop 335 (Lakeside) and FM 1912 for crack sealing.
• Western Street at Loop 335 (Hollywood), the roadways is closed on the south side of the intersection for the next several weeks as part of the freeway reconstruction project. Traffic from Loop 335 wishing to go south on Western Street will need to use Bell Street south to Sundown Lane. Traffic on Western Street heading north toward Loop 335 will still be able to access all points south of the closure.There will be no scheduled maintenance work on state roadways in the Texas panhandle on Thursday and Friday, December 24 and 25 due to the Christmas Holiday. However, emergency work and snow/ice removal efforts will be performed if necessary.
