People in the Texas Panhandle know that the weather can produce some breathtaking sights, like wall clouds, double rainbows, and extreme lightning.

A man documented one of the most unique weather formations I've seen in Amarillo.

He was traveling near Zita, southeast of Amarillo, when he spotted this:

As you can see in the video, there was a downpour in an isolated area, creating what almost resembles a tornado. In the comments, people said that they were caught in the rain or drove through it and that it was extremely concentrated.

There were other areas of isolated rain throughout Amarillo yesterday during the later hours of the day. We have been enjoying a lot of late summer rain over the past few weeks.

If you also saw this phenomenon or have pictures of other crazy weather in Amarillo, please share them with us!
