When someone comes up to you and asks you, "hey would you like to climb down the side of a 10-story building?"  Most of the time your answer would be no.  Well that's the questions I was asked not too long ago.  Let me just say I am terrified, TERRIFIED of heights.  However, I am going to face my fears for one simple reason,  The Coffee Memorial Blood Center.   I want to be the reason someone lives.

Unfortunately, I am one of those people who cannot give blood.  My veins won't allow for it.  It's hard enough for me to do lab work and give enough blood to run tests.  My veins cannot accommodate a pint of blood.  I don't know why, it's just how it seems to work with me.   This makes me sad because I am O-.  I have the universal blood type.

However, when I was approached with a chance to go Over the Edge, I jumped at the chance with a bit of trepidation.  Like I said I'm scared of heights.  However, I cannot imagine how scary it would be to be in a situation where I had to have blood due to an illness or a accident.

So I ask you to help me help the Coffee Memorial Blood Center.  If you could open your hearts an make a donation all the money will go to the Coffee Memorial Blood Center.

I will be going Over the Edge on Friday afternoon, September the 16th on media day and would love for you to come out and watch.  I'll be the one on the side of the building shaking like a leaf.

If you would like to go Over the Edge you can sign up to be a part of the fun as well.

This year the event is being sponsored by United Supermarkets - Celebrating 100 Years.
