Amazon has announced that if you do not update your Kindle by March 22nd (tomorrow) you may be at risk of losing downloads and Kindle services.

According to a Kindle user, if you do not update by tomorrow you could receive a message that says "Your Kindle is unable to connect at this time. Please make sure you are within wireless range and try again. If the problem persists, please restart your Kindle from the Menu in Settings and try again.”

The reason for the emergency update is because apparently there is a security glitch and the update will fix it.

I don't have a Kindle, so I don't know if it tells you when you need to update it. However, it's important that you do this as soon as possible if you weren't aware of the update.
