No laughing matter: Amy Schumer and Ben Hanisch have confirmed they've broken up after more than a year of dating.

Schumer's rep told Us Weekly that the comedian and furniture designer have gone their separate ways, but that no bad blood has ensued.

“Amy and Ben have ended their relationship after thoughtful consideration and remain friends,” the rep said.

The couple began dating in November 2015 after they met on a dating app, an experience Schumer chronicled in her book The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo.

"The night I first met Ben in person ... it was raining. I'd just had acupuncture, so there was oil in my hair and there were deep red lines on my cheeks from being face down on the table, but I put on jeans instead of sweatpants and walked downstairs to meet him outside," she wrote. "I got out into the rain, and Ben was standing there, no umbrella or hood, with a soggy paper bag with a bottle of wine in it. We smiled at each other and in that moment, everything felt right," she wrote.

The relationship eventually became fodder for Schumer in her standup routines — she poked fun at Hanisch, his aggressively sweet mother and the couple's misfortunes when they traveled — specifically, when a case of food poisoning hit them both in Paris.

"I was like the fountain on Friends,” she told The Ellen Degeneres Show in December.
