Annual Amarillo July 4th Fireworks Festival At John Stiff Memorial Park on Wednesday

One of the great things about the 4th of July is the fireworks.  As a child I had the opportunity to "pop" our own fireworks since my grandparents lived on a dirt road outside the city limits.  However, most kids that I know, including my son don't get to do anything like that so it is great that they have a fireworks display right here in Amarillo.

The festival proves to be lots of fun with food vendors, rides and live music.

WHAT: July 4th Fireworks Festival

WHEN: Wednesday, July 4th Gates Open at 4:30pm, Fireworks start just after dark.

WHERE: John Stiff Memorial Park, Just south of 45th and Bell

Enjoy family fun and live music from Beyond Country, A.J. Swope & The Last Train Home and Casey Berry.  Then fireworks start at dark accompanied by the Amarillo Symphony.
