I grew up in the Texas Panhandle. It’s home! I love the people and I absolutely love this community. Amarillo has a big heart! I started my radio career in 1995 when I walked into the Broadcasting Department of WTAMU. In 2001, I joined Mix 94.1 crew on Middays. In the Spring of 2015 I set my alarm clock for 4:30am and my morning career began. What an adventure it has been, In August of 2017 I met my co-host Charlie and mornings have been a blast. Each morning when that alarm goes off at that ungodly hour, I get up, get dressed and make my way to the studio and first thing, I grab a pot of coffee. Then I get the great privilege of spending my morning with you and Charlie on Mix Mornings. In my free time, I spend time with the love of my life, hanging out on the patio and listening to music, and laughing. I love spending time with my son going to museums and talking about history, learning about Legos and of course everything having to do with Star Wars. He's also a music lover and he loves all the genres, from Classical to Current hits. When I have extra time, I love reading a good book, however I need some great book suggestions so send them my way. I will admit though, my Netflix addiction does take away from my reading, and it has a habit of completely stealing my Sundays. Thank you so much for spending a part of your day with me!
