March 21, 2013 I realize that the cell phone ban is still a huge hot topic in Amarillo. I see people every day breaking the new law. I am guessing those people oppose the law. As for my point of view, I understand the no texting while driving, and I also understand the only way to enforce that was a total cell phone ban. However, there is something that is more distracting while driving.
March 20, 2013 Coming up this Saturday, from 9a-1p, the Boy Scouts will be doing their annual Scouting for Food. This day for me is like Halloween in March. Only you won't find goblins, pumpkins or ghouls. You will only find nice young men in uniform collecting non-perishable foods for the High Plains Food Bank.
March 20, 2013 So I'm a fan of eggs, I eat them on occasion. I like them scrambled, fried, boiled, deviled, etc. I grew up on fresh eggs right off the farm (man, I miss those days). I have always been amazed when I crack one open to find a double yolk. I consider that good luck. However, can you imagine cracking open a egg only to find another egg. Apparently, in China there is a chicken who lays giant eggs that have an egg inside them.
March 19, 2013 I play a few games here and there. I always have a constant Word With Friends game going on with several people. I play Matching with Friends. I used to play a ton of games on facebook, Gardens of Time, Farmville, etc. However, this one game has sucked me in. It's like game crack. One time and you are hooked. Candy Crush is my nemesis.

March 18, 2013 If you have kids who love dinosaurs then you definitely want to make plans to addend Discover the Dinosaurs. E loves dinosaurs, and that was evident this weekend when we drove to the dinosaur museum in Tucumcari, NM. Then I get into the office this morning and find out more dinosaurs. It's going to be great.
March 18, 2013 This would be one of my worst nightmares come trues. Imagine yourself traveling on public transportation, a bus, when out of nowhere hundreds of these nasty creatures start crawling all over you and the walls. That is exactly what happened to unsuspected riders in New York. You would think this was some kind of practical joke but it wasn't. Shiver time.
March 14, 2013 It was last fall when I first heard about this show called Duck Dynasty. I thought, great another reality show with a bunch of rednecks. I wrote it off as I would never watch this show and I don't understand the obsession with reality shows and rednecks.

However, in a society where spanking doesn't occur much anymore, this Colorado mother thought she would try something different.
