Hey there, Rick Andrews here. I thought I would give you a little background about me. I was born and raised in Bangor, Maine and was bitten by the radio "bug" since the age of 7. By the time I was 14 years old I got my dream job and "cracked the mic" for the first time and have never looked back. My career has taken me from Maine, New York, California and New Mexico. Rick has been described as a "walking encyclopedia" of music info and trivia. When not on the air at Mix 94.1, I enjoy reading entertainment Biographies, Sci-Fi and management books. I also enjoy sketching, painting, drawing and practicing card & coin magic. You usually can find me on the air Monday through Friday from 3pm-7pm.

The joke is that you can only count on two things, death and taxes, but that's not necessarily true. You can always count on Mix 94.1 to bring you the Holiday hits 24/7 as we get towards the end of the year.

5 Fun Facts About PEZ
Growing up as a child I always remembered loving PEZ candies. To be honest, I STILL love PEZ candies. Thank goodness I never became a collector of these little pieces of plastic that dispensed sweet treats. I'm sure I would have gone broke if I had.
The word PEZ is taken from pfefferminz, which is German for peppermint. The original prototype was created in 1927 in Austria. Currently they are bei

Suave.
If you listened to pop radio in the winter of 1991, then you're very familiar with those two words from Gerardo.
