Rick Andrews

Hey there, Rick Andrews here. I thought I would give you a little background about me. I was born and raised in Bangor, Maine and was bitten by the radio "bug" since the age of 7. By the time I was 14 years old I got my dream job and "cracked the mic" for the first time and have never looked back. My career has taken me from Maine, New York, California and New Mexico. Rick has been described as a "walking encyclopedia" of music info and trivia. When not on the air at Mix 94.1, I enjoy reading entertainment Biographies, Sci-Fi and management books. I also enjoy sketching, painting, drawing and practicing card & coin magic. You usually can find me on the air Monday through Friday from 3pm-7pm.

Best Cartoons Ever – Rick’s Top 5 [VIDEO & AUDIO]

Saturday Mornings! Not only did it mark two days away from school, but it also meant that I would wake up early and be sitting in front of my TV waiting for the onslaught of cartoons to flash in front of my eyes. Keep in mind, this was a time when cartoons were actually on the three major networks (NBC,CBS,ABC) all morning long. With that in mind, I thought I would share my Top 5 favorites of all-time.

#1. Best Cartoon Ever : Scooby-Doo Where Are You?

(Hanna Barbera)
Hands down my favorite cartoon of all-time. How can you go wrong with those 'meddling kids and that mangy dog.' If you watch enough of the episodes, you realize that it's pretty much the same finely crafted scenerio each time.
