Last night on ABC, news/talk show vet Barbara Walters gave us 90-minutes of whom, she considered the Most Fascinating People of this past year. This is an annual tradition for Walters, but this year’s show had one difference. The ‘Most Fascinating Person’ is no longer with us.
All of the past people featured in her shows have been still among the living, but Apple Co-Founder, Steve Jobs, passed away this past October after his 8-year battle with cancer. The host said that the decision of Jobs was made well before his passing, but in the past 18 years this is the first time that the ‘winner’ has been deceased.
Other ‘Fascinating’ People on last night’s special included, X-Factor’s Simon Cowell, Herman Cain, Baseball’s Derek Jeter, Katy Perry and even The Kardashians.
Although I am not a huge fan of the Kardashians, I did enjoy Walters’ comments to them, including;
“You don’t sing, you don’t dance, you don’t act. Forgive me, but you don’t have any talent.”
Who would you have named the “Most Fascinating Person” of 2011?
