Well, I hope you are enjoying all the Holiday music on Mix 94.1. As we gear up for the 'Happiest time of the year,' I though I would list of my top 5 favorite Holiday Movies. More and more Christmas movies are rolling out on TV and it's hard to narrow my list down to just five, but these are the ones that will make me stop what I'm doing and keep me glued to the TV. So, grab some coco, relax in your chair and enjoy the list.

    Fred Claus

    Rated PG (2007)

Vince Vaughn stars as Santa's elder brother, Fred. On Christmas Eve, Fred has the task of taking over for his younger brother and delivering all the presents around-the world. If he fails, it means that the North Pole will be closed and Santa will be terminated. One of my favorite scenes is when Fred has a 'disagreement' with DJ Donny.

    Elf

    Rated PG (2003)

Will Ferrell is absolutely hysterical as 'Buddy,' an elf that finds out he is adopted and sets out to find his biological father. It's a great cast and a great plot as Buddy helps his dad get the spirit of Christmas.

    The Santa Clause

    Rated G (1994)

Even though the folks at Disney made this franchise into a trilogy, you can't beat the first one. Although special 'props' goes to Martin Short as 'Jack Frost' in the third installment. Tim Allen is Scott Calvin, who while spending time with his son, gets an unexpected visitor on his roof.

    White Christmas

    Rated G (1954)

Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney headline one of the all-time Christmas classics. A successful song-and-dance team become romantically involved with a sister act and team up to save a failing Vermont inn.

    Christmas Vacation

    Rated PG (1989)

Spending the Holidays with the Griswolds. What more could anybody want. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo return as Clark and Ellen Griswold for more over-the-top fun. If you're a fan of all the 'Vacation' movies, you'll notice that Chase has at least one scene, per film where he wears a Chicago Bears Cap.
