Best Things to Do Inside During the Winter

Let's face it, it's winter and it's cold.  Most of the time all we want to do is cuddle up in bed or on the couch under a blanket.  Who wants to be outside in the cold.  I know I don't however being cooped up inside can get boring sometimes so here are some fun things to do during the winter when it's cold.

TV Binge Watching

Let's face it, you have been on the go, go, go and now that it's cold you don't want to be on the go anymore.  So don't be.  Log on to your Netflix account or use your On Demand and watch that show you've been wanting to watch.  During the not-so snowpocalypse, my boyfriend and I binged watched Game of Thrones.  HBO was running a marathon and we watched 4 seasons over 4 days and it was great.

Catch Up on Your Reading

I love nothing more than to read, but I'll admit, I haven't had much time to do so.  I love to read so during the winter I find a good book and I read.  When it is cold outside, what's better than a cup of coffee and curling up in your favorite chair with a good book, or a good book on your Kindle.

Play Games with Your Family

So when it's cold and maybe you're snowed in, bust out the board games.  Get the family around the table and play some games.  I'm killer at Candy Land and don't even get me started on UNO.  I'm a beast.  You can do the same with friends, maybe kick your games up a bit with Catch Phrase or Cards Against Humanity.

Cuddle

Let's face it cuddling is one of the best things to do in the winter.  Just curl up on the couch or in front of the fireplace with your sweetheart and cuddle.  If you don't have a sweetheart then cuddling with your babies whether they are your kids or your pets is a good bet.  Cuddling is awesome.

Bake

So maybe you aren't great in the kitchen, well now you have time to practice.  Start baking some cookies, move up to brownies, then how about a cake or two.  I love cooking brownies and cheesecakes.
