Along with being the largest city in Hutchinson County, Borger, Texas is a staple in the Panhandle community. You can't go a football season without hearing about the mighty fighting bulldog's taking down a team. But if you take the great people, and the sports success out of the equation and take a closer look one thing is very obvious for the folks raising a family in Borger. There isn't much for the kids to do.

In 2016 the Wildcatter bowling alley was closed down. For two years the building as been sitting empty and the disappointment of the town's residents did not fall on deaf ears. The City Council responded and is making moves to restore Wildcatter Bowling and Entertainment.

Wildcatter is set to open later this Summer with 20 lanes, arcade area, full restaurant and reports say that the owners have plans to add go-carts and a track as well.
