If you listened to Britney Spears' new track 'Ooh La La' and thought to yourself, "Where have I heard this before?," you're not alone. A YouTuber (and presumed Madonna fan) noticed the stark similarities between Brit Brit's new track and Madonna's track 'Superstar' from her 2012 album 'MDNA.'

First, the lyrics of both songs definitely share similarities. The chorus to Madge's 'Superstar' goes, "Ooh la la, you're my superstar / Ooh la la, love the way that you are / Ooh la la, you're my superstar / Ooh la la, that's what you are." On the other hand, the Britney Spears lyrics read, "Take my hand, we can go all night  / And spin me round just the way I like / It feels so good, I don't wanna stop / So baby come with me and be my ooh la la." While very similar, we think it's VERY safe to assume that neither Madonna nor Britney came up with the term 'ooh la la.'

When it comes to the delivery, both Madonna and Britney's vocals possess the same sing-songy cadence that gives heed to these accusations. But then again, neither pop diva invented that technique either.

As for the music, both tracks have an EDM and guitar-driven sound, hence sounding slightly similar. Do we even have to say once again, that neither lady is breaking any musical ground with this tempo and electronic-inspired sound.

So, do you think Britney Spears ripped off Madonna's track 'Superstar'? Listen above and vote in the poll below.
