Burn Ban is in Effect for Randall County

Burn ban, now there is something we haven't heard a lot of this year.  We have been blessed with a ton of rain this year, however, since we haven't seen a whole lot of moisture lately we are now looking at a burn ban for Randall County.

So what does the burn ban mean for residents of Randall County?  This means that you cannot have outdoor fires in Randall County.  The Commissioners Court in Randall County found factors in Randall Country that outdoor fires could cause a public safety concern, so outdoor fires will not be allowed in the county for at least 90 days.

The ban will be in effect today, September 29, 2015 through December 28, 2015.  It is possible that the ban will be lifted before then, but as of now, outdoor fires are prohibited.

So be mindful of the burn bans in your area.  We want to make sure we always put safety first when dealing with fire whether a burn ban is in effect or not.
