Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Sweet Shower Time
As a younger adult/teen, I never thought a shower would be so wonderful. Sometimes as a parent the shower is my escape, my sweet quiet moment from the chaos of having 6 kids in a really small house.

I play a few games here and there. I always have a constant Word With Friends game going on with several people. I play Matching with Friends. I used to play a ton of games on facebook, Gardens of Time, Farmville, etc. However, this one game has sucked me in. It's like game crack. One time and you are hooked. Candy Crush is my nemesis.
I like to venture onto Etsy every now and then especially around the holidays just to see some of the interesting things they have available. So since it is Easter I thought I would see some of the strangest Easter things Etsy has to offer.
If you have kids who love dinosaurs then you definitely want to make plans to addend Discover the Dinosaurs. E loves dinosaurs, and that was evident this weekend when we drove to the dinosaur museum in Tucumcari, NM. Then I get into the office this morning and find out more dinosaurs. It's going to be great.
Last week I started the Happy Plate series in celebration of National Nutrition Month. The theme for this year is “Eat Right, Your Way, Every Day” which encourages the development of a healthful eating plan that incorporates individual food choices and preferences.
This weekend I visited California, So Cal. I had a good time, except I couldn’t help but notice the superiority of each person as they realized I was from Texas. When I would ask for sweet tea, they would look at me funny. As I would prepay for my gas for my suburban the looks of “how dare I ruin the environment” would ensue. As I would actually use my blinker to ask and inform other drivers of my intention to change lanes, well let’s just say I think the whole state of California needs to get blinkers installed on their vehicles.
The Peddler Show returns to Amarillo this weekend. I had a chance to talk to Emily Sutton with the Peddler Show and here's what you have to look forward to at the event.
If you have been looking for answers on what is going on in our government and with gun laws then you will want to attend this Town Hall Meeting.
Ahhh, Spring Break!! For many, this indicates a break from school, a break from work, and vacation time. As tempted as I was to just get away for a few days this year, my sensible side won and I chose to stay home and play catch up. This didn’t stop the rest of the family from enjoying their break though, so this week I find myself home alone in an uncomfortably quiet house.
As I am getting back into the routine of things on this Monday, I just wanted to take the time to say Thank You.
