After being crammed in a community den all winter, the western diamondback rattlesnakes of Texoma are emerging sexually driven, hungry, active -- and HUGE!

This week we have a wonderful little guy to introduce you to that needs a good forever home.  You see Curly was kept on a leash outside for 4 years.  He's had a rough life, and was so matted when he was brought into the Amarillo SPCA that it took the groomer a full day to find him under all that hair.  However, he is a sweet dog and has lots of love to give and needs.

Do we really need a day to honor puppies? Yes. Yes we do.

Here's something you don't come across too often. Or ever.

This girl is a beauty and she so would love to go home with you and be a part of your family.  Maizey is up for adoption now at the Amarillo SPCA.

How could someone do this?

This fella will melt your heart.  Chewy was an owner surrender and looks to be part Pekingese and part Shih Tzu.  He loves belly rubs and scratches and just needs a new forever home with a family that will love him.

If you are looking for the cutest of the cute then Heidi is for you.  Heidi is full of energy and about 7-8 months old.  She is a mix of a lot, so we'll just call her the cutest mutt ever.  She's available for adoption through the Amarillo SPCA.

If you are looking for an absolutely cute dog then look not further.  Lani is the cutest little girl dog and she needs a good home.  She looks to be a long haired chihuahua.  She is fun and active and needs a good home.  Would you like to make her a member of your family?

A golden retriever that spent two harrowing nights in a sinkhole has emerged safe and sound.

Every week we here at Mix 94.1 feature the Pet of the Week.  We introduce you to a cuddle dog or cat up for adoption at the Amarillo SPCA.  The Amarillo SPCA is a no-kill shelter.  They find homes for pets all over Amarillo and Canyon.  This Friday you have the opportunity to give back while getting a great meal.
