Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Spring Has Sprung

Last week we had some beautiful days, so we  packed up the kids when Daddy got home from work and off to the park we went.  It was so very nice.  The kids went to the playground, Daddy and Mommy went for a walk, and it was such a great time.

Mommy Blogger Christy K.- What’s for Dinner

There is one question that plagues me daily… “What’s for dinner?”  While it may sound simple for some, just the idea of meal planning for my family stresses me out.

Mommy Blogger Caroline S. – Doilies, Mod Podge and Pinterest…Oh My!

Like so many other things in my life, blah woe is me, I dropped the ball in turning in my Sunday night homework last week. Big surprise. I literally floated through the weekend and Monday morning came and I had never given a single thought to writing up a blog. Mom brain, much? Mom-in-the-middle-of-planning-a-first-birthday-party brain is more like it.

The Easter Basket Dilema

So over the last few days my son has been talking about the Easter Bunny.  He keeps talking about what the Easter Bunny is gonna bring him.  I am not talking just a basket full of candy, and eggs.  He is expecting the Easter Bunny to bring him an $85 Lego set.  I have no idea where he got the idea that the bunny is the equivalent to Santa.

Mommy Blogger Jess C. – Sweet Shower Time

As a younger adult/teen, I never thought a shower would be so wonderful.  Sometimes as a parent the shower is my escape, my sweet quiet moment from the chaos of having 6 kids in a really small house.

Mommy Blogger Christy K. – Bullying

During Spring Break, one thing that I did manage to accomplish was crossing a few movies off of my watch list.  One of those happened to be the documentary "Bully".  If you haven’t seen this film, I would definitely recommend it.

Mommy Blogger April B. – Parenting Isn’t ‘One Size Fits All’

In the last couple of weeks, a particular viral Facebook post has been bugging me. If you're on Facebook, I'm sure it's crossed your newsfeed. You might've even shared it. It's the one that's an open letter to the mom sitting at the park playing on her iPhone while her kids do all sorts of cute things. It's sweet and sappy and really gives the mom a good finger wagging for missing out on her daughter picking dandelions.

But, in case you missed it....

Mother Wants To Punish Kids By Making them Wear Shirts That Say “I Steal” and “Bully” To School

I have heard some interesting punishments from parents who are trying to get through to their kids.  Some parents make their kids stand on a busy intersection holding a sign saying what they did wrong.  Others, make their kids do manual labor.  However, in a society where spanking doesn't occur much anymore, this Colorado mother thought she would try something different.

Mommy Blogger Christy K. – Peaceful Spring Break

Ahhh, Spring Break!!  For many, this indicates a break from school, a break from work, and vacation time.  As tempted as I was to just get away for a few days this year, my sensible side won and I chose to stay home and play catch up. This didn’t stop the rest of the family from enjoying their break though, so this week I find myself home alone in an uncomfortably quiet house.
