Discipline could be the most difficult part of parenting for me. My husband and I decided when The Oldest was new and little that we wouldn't spank her. Time out would be sufficient for our little angel. Or a stern warning. We didn't need to strike her.

One of the many wonderful things that CMN has purchased is a Surgery Doll.  The surgery Doll is named Izzy.  This doll is used to teach and show small children procedures that will be happening on their little bodies.

We are in the middle of the best two days of the year, the Children's Miracle Network Celebration.  The money raised for CMN in these next few days will stay local to help local kids.  Donations go to help our kids and here is something amazing that donations to CMN created.

As you know the Children's Miracle Network Celebration Radiothon starts tomorrow.  In 2008 I was helping one of our local TV stations with the CMN Telethon.  As I stepped into the NICU I saw a girl that I went to high school with and she was in full NICU gowns and standing by the tiniest baby I have ever seen in person and that baby girl was Mylee.

The subject of bullying has come up a lot in my life lately, both from friends and my kids. In varying ways, in different forms, we have all been bullied. I truly don't believe that anyone can claim to have never in their lives been picked on, teased or ridiculed. Bullying is a universal experience. Vacation Bible School or as the cool kids call it, VBS is a fun event the kids can enjoy while learning about God.  When summer rolls around so does VBS.  Not only is it fun but there is more than one in town so your kids can have more than one week of VBS.
