Canada celebrates Thanksgiving before we do. Ours is November of course, while Canada celebrates theirs, on the second Monday of October. While Americans eat turkey, watch football, nap, and eat again, Canadians are bit more laid back

The St. Mary's Cathedral School Carnival is a huge a tradition in Amarillo and if you haven't been, dress the kids in their costumes and make plans to come out and celebrate this Saturday, October 13th. It's fun for the entire family and it has something for everyone.

Halloween is coming up soon and you have to get prepared. You have to have the best Halloween Candy. Of course you save the chocolate for yourself. Candy is a huge part of this holiday. I mean, why else would you go trick or treating? For the candy!

While the sandwich was tasty, I have found that maybe with age my stomach is changing. I now pay the price for playing with fire.

When I hear the Tri-State Fair is approaching, my mouth begins to water. The fair is my gateway to the fall holidays. You can have the Indian Tacos, Funnel Cakes, and fried pickles. The turkey legs are mine. I love "Turkey Leg" season.

Fall in the Texas panhandle brings, football, Kids Inc soccer and the Amarillo Chamber Of Commerce's Good Time Celebration BBQ cook-off. There are ribs, as far as the eye can see, some with sauce-some dry. How do you like yours?

The world is crazy. 24 new cycles, Jim Parsons is leaving The Big Bang Theory and I'm suppose to burn my house down, to prove to the guy who made the bricks for it, that I don't like choices he has made.
