A group called the Pistol Shrimps, have made a parody of The Avengers.  I mean seriously, the only thing missing from the movie was a dance number and now they have one.

The Golden Globes awarded their winners for the best TV and movies last night.  As usual half of those movies were not seen my normal people.  However, after watching here are the movies I want to see that were either nominated or won a Golden Globe.

Now that we are in a new year, here are a few movies that I cannot wait to see between now and the end of March.

OK I admit it, I love ABC Family's 13 Nights of Halloween.  I love watching the fun Halloween Movies (except for Harry Potter? That's an entirely different debate).   Then on the other hand, I love watching the scary stuff, like SyFy's 31 Days of Halloween, and AMC's Fearfest on Halloween.  So I was curious what is your favorite Halloween Movie?

I don't think we realize just how many swear words are in movies these days.  The first known swear word in a major motion picture came with Gone With The Wind.  From that point on it just got worse and worse and worse.  I was shocked when the latest Transformers movie dropped and f-bomb for really no apparent reason, knowing full well children younger than the rating would be watching that movie.

This weekend, we get two new movies that aren't your traditional summer fare—the first an adaptation of a beloved musical, the other a sequel to a somewhat surprising hit from not long ago.

I was looking for something to watch the other day on TV and decided to see what was available on Netflix. While scrolling through the Documentary section, I came across the movie 'Blackfish.'

So this put things into perspective, on of my favorite movies from the 80's turns 30 this Sunday.  Sixteen Candles celebrates its 30th anniversary of the day when they all forgot Samantha's birthday.   I guess that means Sam would be 46 on Sunday.
