If you watched American Idol last night then you saw the audition of Amarillo Native Kristine Osorio.  Kristine is a mother of three who flew to Houston to audition.  Kristine is in the process of going through a divorce, and took out a loan to pay for it.  However, she decided she would take a chance on herself and her talent and used the money for a airline ticket to Houston.  Check out her awesome audition.

What is it with reality talent competition judges botching the national anthem? ‘The Voice‘ coach Christina Aguilera bungled the song at the Super Bowl last February, and now, Aerosmith frontman and ‘American Idol‘ judge Steven Tyler is being crucified for his poor version of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner,’ which he sang this afternoon (Jan. 22) before the AFC championship game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens. The Pats actually won the game, so Tyler’s inept version wasn’t a curse or bad luck.

Lady Gaga Producer DJ White Shadow Hurls Insults at Madonna

This means war! DJ White Shadow, who worked as a producer on Lady Gaga‘s ‘Born This Way,’ has entered the Gaga vs. Madonna fray. By now, you know the story. Madge finally commented on ‘Born This Way,’ calling it “reductive“ on ‘Good Morning America’ and also telling Newsweek that it was a “wonderful way to redo my song.” While the Material Girl did say that she thinks Gaga is talented, the focus has been squarely on the not-so-positive commentary. The little monsters are on the attack, and now, so is DJ White Shadow. Sort of.

From the “Backhanded Compliment” Department: Madonna has finally commented on the title track from Lady Gaga‘s ‘Born This Way.’ When the song dropped about a year ago, it was instantly met with accusations that Gaga had blatantly and directly ripped off and copied Madge’s 1989 hit, ‘Express Yourself.’ It was not lost on Madonna herself, who only recently referred to the song as a ‘redo.’
