June 23, 2011 I like an occasional glass of wine now and then. I love a good song from the band Train now and then as well, however, I never thought I could have them both together. Train has announce that they have a new wine called Drops of Jupiter.
Before they were judges on NBC’s hit singing competition series ‘The Voice,’ Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera were chart-topping singers — and they teamed up to return to their roots Tuesday night, with a performance of their collaborative new single, ‘Moves Like Jagger.’
Maroon 5 took the stage first, with Levine fronting the band for the first half of the uptempo song, before Aguilera — wearing a low-cut T-shirt emblazoned with ‘BOYS’ and sporting pink streaks in her hair — strutted on to join them for the big finish.
What’s Lady Gaga’s next logical step after emerging from an egg, wearing a meat dress and using a blood fountain as a stage prop? Unshaven armpits sprouting blue hair and matching blue pubic hair, of course.
Gaga sported patches of fake blue hair in intimate areas while performing ‘Born This Way’ on the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards, which aired Sunday on Fuse.
June 20, 2011 Well the 'end of the world' was predicted for earlier this year and, well it didn't happen. But, that didn't stop 'Weird Al' Yankovic from making his own prediction of the 'Alpocalypse' with his brand new cd with the above mentioned title.
One thing Al hates is when you ask him if this is his comeback album. His reply is, "I NEVER went anywhere, so how can it be comeback."
The new date of the "Alpocalypse' is Tuesday, June 21 (also, the first day of Summer) and the release date of his new album. I have gone to Al's website (which is streaming his new album) and have listen to it three times,so far, in 24 hours. This is classic Al, as he takes on songs from B.o.B ('Another Tattoo'), Taylor Swift ('TMZ'), Miley Cyrus ('Party in the CIA') and a very heavily-influenced Doors sounding 'Craig's List.' This album, like all of his others are sprinkled with original compositions too, 'Ringtone,' 'Stop Forwarding That Crap To Me,' the hilarious 'Skipper Dan' and of course his signature Polka Song, called 'Polka Face,' where he takes on pop music and puts it to a polka...beat?
A lot of these songs were performed at his concert at the Amarillo Globe News Center earlier this year and they are all still relevant and hilarious.
So, with my overflowing admiration and highly praised thoughts on his new album, here's a look at my top 10 favorite "Weird Al" songs.
Sure, they’re technically still kids, but one can’t help but say “aww!” at the newly released baby photos of ‘American Idol’ stars Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina.
The photos, released by ‘American Idol’s’ website, show the season 10 winner and runner-up looking so-adorable-it-hurts as they pose for the cameras. In Scotty’s case, we see him with his older sister, while Lauren poses in a cute frilly dress and bow.
Subtle isn’t exactly a word one would use to describe Lady Gaga, but the Grammy-winning ‘Born This Way’ star has taken it down a notch in the video for her latest single, ‘The Edge of Glory.’
A leather-clad Gaga spends much of the video dancing (crawling?) around on a fire escape, which may not necessarily please fans who prefer her antics in, say, ‘Judas.’

June 15, 2011 I admit it, I have been sucked into The Voice, NBC's newest hit. I enjoy watching singing competitions. The Voice has 4 different coaches, country star Blake Shelton, pop princess Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Maroon 5's Adam Levine. They all have great chemistry together but it always seems that Adam and Christina cannot stand to be around each other. They are always arguing and well, they are not very nice to each other on the show.

As many had predicted, Lady Gaga sold over 1 million copies of 'Born This Way' in its first week of release. The exact number is 1.11 million copies, according to EW.com, making it the 10th-highest debut for a CD, and the best-selling debut since 50 Cent's 'The Massacre' sold 1.14 million copies in March 2005.
