Blaze Coffee was an amazing young man who benefited from blood donation.  You can honor his memory and help out the Coffee Memorial Blood Center by taking part in the Blaze Coffee Benefit Run this Saturday, May 19th in Panhandle Texas.

Don't be surprised if you are driving down Bell, Coulter or Ross today and see folks in the medians holding boots.  Today kicks off the Amarillo Professional Firefighters Fill the Boot Campaign for our local MDA.

The Great Food Truck Race is a show on the Food Network.  The reality show hosted by FN Chef, Tyler Florence,  pits 7 different food trucks against each other as they travel throughout the country.  The objective of each truck each week is to have the highest amount of sales and the least is eliminated.  The upcoming season contestants will be making their way into Amarillo this week!

We are 2 weeks and 1 day closer to our Children's Miracle Network Celebration, we want to introduce you to some of the Miracles we have met and the miracles that have happened because of your generous donations to Children's Miracle Network. Amarillo Crime Stoppers will be hosting a lunch on Wednesday, May 16th.  They are raising money to help out Sgt. Don Moore who was diagnosed with bone cancer.  Make plans to have lunch to help out this great fundraiser.  Keep reading for all the details.

Join the National Association of  Letter Carriers  as they help to Stamp Out Hunger! this Saturday, May 12th.  Local Letter Carriers are trying to raise 30,000 pounds of food for the High Plains Food Bank.  Watch your mail for a special Stamp Out Hunger! bag.

When it comes to sensitive documents do you hoard them.  Do you have a ton of old bills, documents with your personal information, things that you need to have destroyed but it has all become overwhelming?  If that is the case then mark your calendars for Shred it Day!

Why worry about what you are going to cook for dinner tonight.   It just causes stress.  How about letting someone else cook for the family, and you get to help out babies.

Lots of rockin' and walkin' will be happening in Sam Houston Park coming up on Saturday, April 21st.  It is the Amarillo Area Autism In Action Rock the Walk.

A fun event is happening this weekend benefiting Make-A-Wish North Texas Chapter.  If you have never been to a roping then you need to make plans to attend this weekend at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair Grounds.

Thank you to everyone who has been keeping up and praying for William Taylor.  If you missed his story in December you can read more about it here.  However, to give you a quick background, William was diagnosed with inoperable brain aneurysms in September.  He has been fighting for his life ever since.  William has been in the hospital since December and was transported from Dallas back to Amaril
