You have the opportunity to enjoy and help and be a part of the High Plains Food Bank.    The HPFB is teaming up with Fisher to give you a chance to give back to the community this year at the Fisher Shares and Cares Volunteer Day at the High Plains Food Bank.

Today is Friday the 13th!  Not only that, it is also The Great Turkey Drop.  Today is the day we collect turkeys for the High Plains Food Bank.  Here the the top 5 reasons you should donate a turkey today.

No one should go without a turkey on Thanksgiving. That is why we are teaming up with the High Plains Food Bank for The Great Turkey Drop!  If we don't come together and donate turkeys, those families that are helped by the High Plains Food Bank won't have a turkey for Thanksgiving.

Each year the Salvation Army offers assistance to families around the area for Christmas.  This year that is no different.  If you or someone you know needs assistance during the holidays, then please encourage them to sign up for the Salvation Army Christmas Assistance program.

Frames of love is a wonderful organization.  They take the time to provide a great service to families of terminally ill infants and children and those parents who have suffered the loss of a child.  They do this through photography.

The High Plains Food Bank is reaching out to you and asking for help.  They are experiencing a decline in their summer donations.  With families taking vacations and people doing things in the summer.  Donations are lacking for the food bank.
