Cee Lo Green has become such an inspirational judge and coach on NBC’s hit reality-competition series ‘The Voice.’ It’s great to see him week after week give encouraging advice to finalists who are hoping to win the ultimate prize of $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Republic.

Although the show has been renewed for a third season, there’s no guarantee that the other judges Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton will return. However, Green plans to stick around as long as he can.

“I would like to think that we were irreplaceable, you know what I’m saying?” he explains to The Associated Press (via Washington Post). “But the truth of the matter is, we’re still working-class artists and artists can be very fickle. I would like to be here as long as it’s fresh and new and exciting and fun for me.”

Green says one of the fun aspects about ‘The Voice’ is the camaraderie between him and the fellow judges. After watching Aguilera collaborate with Maroon 5 on their chart-topping hit ‘Moves Like Jagger,’ Green has recorded a song with the pop princess and with Levine, as well. “And I have a song for Blake Shelton that I gave to him,” he adds. “And I’d like to do it alongside him. I’d like for it to be a duet.”

Since Green, Aguilera, Shelton and Levine are good buddies, is there a possibility we will see them come together to form a pop supergroup?

“Why not, man? Why not? Everybody’s talented,” he says. “Everybody’s available and highly enthusiastic. I think everybody would be up for it, man, because it’s a great idea.”

‘The Voice’ Season 2 two-hour season finale airs on May 8 at 9PM ET.
