Earth Day is coming up and it's going to be a time to celebrate.  It's a day to honor our Earth and a day to bring awareness to our planet and how we should take care of it.  The Amarillo Zoo will be celebrating Earth Day in style.

WHAT: Earth Day - Every Day: Celebrating Healthy Wildlife and Families for Generations to Come

WHEN: Saturday, April 22nd, 9:30a-3pm

WHERE: Amarillo Zoo - Inside Thompson Park, NE 24th and the Dumas Highway

COST: FREE! courtesy of the Texas Department of Health and Human Services - Help and Hope Campaign

Bring the family out for a fun day of fun exhibits, lots of interactive Zoofari carts, and fun scavenger hunts.  Learn more about the Earth and wildlife with Zoo Keeper talks.  Have fun doing crafts as well, plus take-home materials to help you treat the Earth respectfully. 

Don't miss out on the PBS Kids viewing room. Plus, Daniel Tiger from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, will be at the zoo as their very special guest.

While they last free tree seedlings and lady bugs.

The Texas Foestry Service, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, TxDOT, Canyon's Edge Plants and more will be at the Amarillo Zoo.

Don't miss live music from Andy Chase from 11-2pm.
