Academy Award winner, Charlize Theron returns to the big screen with her latest film, "Young Adult."
In the the movie Theron plays Mavis Gary, a fiction writer who returns to her hometown in Minnesota with the thought of rekindling a romance with her ex-boyfriend. One major problem is that her ex is now married with children.
The movie co-stars Patrick Wilson as her ex boyfriend, Buddy Slade and Patton Oswald as her former nerdy classmate, Matt Freehauf.

Theron has been nominated for a 'Satellite Award' for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in this film.
This movie may not be for everybody and is being called a 'Black Comedy' and is Rated R.
This is the 36-year old actress first role in three years.
Recently she sat down with Ellen Degeneres to talk about her new film and being single for the first time in 17 years.

"I haven't been single since [I was] like 19. I've been in two relationships. One was 10 years, and one was three years. Just like back to back."

Theron does not mention being single to get sympathy, she continued to tell the talk show host, "It's actually a nice experience for me because I haven't experienced it… I'm really enjoying it."

But is the sexy actress tearing up tinsel town with her new found single status? "Not that I'm painting the town red and dancing and clubbing," she said. "But I'm really enjoying being on my own."
