Check Out this Awesome Space Duet with Chris Hadfield the International Space Station Commander and That Dude From the Barenaked Ladies

The guy from the Barenaked Ladies, Ed Robertson, wrote a song with the International Space Station Commander Chris Hadfield.  Yes, this really happened, and then they recorded a video of the song, while Chris is floating around space in the International Space Station.

The song is call I.S.S (Is Somebody Singing) and ironically one could claim it also stood for International Space Station.

I'm curious to find out how one co-writes a song with someone floating around in outer space?  I'm guessing these guys are/were friends.  Can one Skype friends from outer space without going through massive amounts of firewalls and security measures?

These are the thought moving around in my head at the moment after watching this video.

Either way it is a pretty cool song and idea.  Really, it's a space to earth, earth to space collaboration.
