Managed Care Center will be hosting a cookout on Friday, June 3rd at Thompson Park. This cookout is in recognition of all the families who have been affected by HIV/AIDS. This cookout will help families to have a release from their everyday struggles and have a little fun.  There will be games, prizes, and food.

HIV affects couples and families, not just the individual.  Progress has been made in the treatment of HIV as well as the prevention of its spread. However, there are still emotional and social problems that are hard to deal with as the disease itself. With this disease, partners and families often provide most of the physical and emotional care. You can imagine how hard this can be. This event will let the families know they are not alone in the fight against this horrible disease.
