Day Care Employees Arrested for Allowing and Encouraging Toddler Fights

As a mom, I send my son off to day care every weekday.  That is a leap of faith because of some of the heinous things that happen in day cares, and this story is no different.  Three employees of Hands of Our Future Daycare in Delaware were arrested for allowing and encouraging toddlers to fight.

Serious, how can a person do this to children. I don't think I will ever understand. Really? Were they trying to create a toddler fight club? What thrill can 3 adult women get out of watching 3-year old children beat the daylights out of each other.

Even though this event happened in Delaware, stuff like this happens all the time in day cares. In fact something just as horrible happened at a day care in Amarillo in 2006 after a worker put a 3-year old in a freezer as punishment.  See that story here.

As a parent, when you are choosing a day care facility, you need to research the facility and talk to other families who use the day care for their children.  Plus, you can research day cares on the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
