New albums drop on Tuesday's and I was looking at the list of new albums out today and I really think something might have happened over the Labor Day weekend.  Did we flashback to the 90's?

"North", Matchbox Twenty

Their debut album, "Yourself or Someone Like You" was released in 1996 featuring, "Long Day", "3AM", "Real World", "Back 2 Good", and "Push".

Their Their debut album, "Fush Yu Mang" was released in 1997 featured "Walkin' on the Sun", and their cover of "Why Can't We Be Friends".  Then Astro Lounge in 1999 featuring "All Star".

"4th Street Feeling", Melissa Etheridge

Melissa Etheridge began her career in the 80's with her album debut in 1988, but it wasn't until her album, "Yes I Am" was released in 1993 that her career took off.  This album contained her hits, "I'm the Only One" and "Come to My Window".

Back in the 90's The Swing Era was revived.  I do believe that was singly done by the movie "Swingers".

"Rattle Them Bones", Big Bad Voodoo Daddy

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy was formed in 1989 and released two albums on their own label but it wasn't until their songs, "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)", "I Wan'na Be Like You" and "Go Daddy-O" was featured on the Swingers soundtrack that their career took off.

"Rockabilly Riot: Live from the Planet", Brian Setzer

Brian Setzer has been on the scene for a long time.  In the 80's he was a member of the Stray Cats and then in 1994 he released the album, "The Brian Setzer Orchestra".

Korn released their self-titled debut album in 1994, followed by "Life is Peachy" in 1996, "Follow the Leader" in 1998, and "Issues" in 1999.
