New York City is just the latest school district to be rocked with a large-scale high school cheating scandal, this one involving state exams and cell phones.

Earlier this year there were also high profile cases of mass cheating in Houston and Long Island.

But these incidents shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. In fact, according to a Rasmussen survey of 1,000 adults, 70 percent believe that most students cheat at least once in school and only 12 percent disagree with that assessment.

Perhaps this is because 42 percent of the poll’s respondents were willing to admit that they cheated on at least one test or exam when they were at school.
