Get out and support Amarillo's Newest baseball team, the Amarillo Sox. They have a new mascot, after making national news/blogs with their not so family friendly mascot. Come see them in action all weekend at the Amarillo National Bank Sox Stadium.

If it has been awhile since you have see Texas or maybe you have never made it out to the musical drama in Palo Duro Canyon, then take the time to enjoy this production this weekend. You just thought skating was a thing of the past. The Rt. 66 Roller Derby has taken skating to an extreme. Come watch these girls battle it out on the track.  Have no fear, these girls know how to throw and take an elbow.

I know, I know, this sounds strange to suggest the Big Texan. However, it is amazing how many times I hear locals say, I have never been to the Big Texan and I have lived here all my life. If you haven't, go try it out. Now, I didn't mean jump in and order the 72oz steak, it's HUGE, but go have lunch or dinner and enjoy the ambiance of our local nationally known tourist attraction.
