Miley Cyrus may seem like a wild child, but her godmother, country legend Dolly Parton, says that Cyrus has her head fully in the game with her 'Bangerz' era -- and that she totally knows what she's doing. Cyrus won't be getting lectures from her buxom godmother anytime soon, but she may get some advice ... if she asks for it, that is.

"If she needs my opinion on something I will surely give it and there have been times we've talked," Parton revealed to the London Evening Standard (via Entertainment Wise), "But I would never dream of calling her and saying, 'Well why are you doing this?' or, 'You shouldn't do this or that."

Parton admits that while Cyrus may seem clueless at times, the former 'Hannah Montana' starlet is actually quite calculated in her image, her music and her work. "I know she has thought this all through. We'll let her go and do her own thing."

Still, Parton says that not all of this may be Cyrus' idea, even if the 'We Can't Stop' singer is going along with it. "It's not easy being young," Parton said. "You've almost got to sacrifice your damn soul just to get anything done."
