BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge series has had some amazing musicians come in and do terrific covers of other artists' popular songs. The latest addition to this series has Ed Sheeran covering Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me.'

Sheeran is out promoting his latest album, titled 'x' (pronounced 'multiply'), and the 23-year-old singer stays true to Smith's song, showcasing his own strong vocals without making any changes to the track. 'Stay With Me' was a No. 1 hit in the UK for Smith and made it has high as No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Smith first performed the track in the United States as the musical guest host on 'Saturday Night Live.' The song's lyrics describe a feeling of emptiness and loneliness after a one-night stand. "Oh, won't you stay with me? / 'Cause you're all I need / This ain't love it's clear to see / But darling, stay with me."
