DESCRIPTION:Join us for All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry\, silent auction\, and live music by  Ed Montana\, Glenn Spiller\, & the Buster Bledsoe Band.    ALL proceeds go to  the Armstrong County Community Outreach Fund held by Claude Methodist  Church.    Since the establishment of this fund\, the Community  Outreach Fund has helped many people in Armstrong County. In times of  need\, this fund has paid for medical bills\, bought glasses\, & paid  for a GED\, just to name a few. Please note that this fund is for  residents of Armstrong County and is not associated with religious  affiliation.    Come on out for some good food\, good fun\, and good  music! Bring a friend!

SUMMARY:Elks Lodge Wildfire Benefit
DESCRIPTION:We will be having a silent auction\, live auction and lots and lots of raffles to help raise money for the families that lost there homes in the fires.    We will be having live music threw out the day from local musicians like Casey Berry\, Josh Paulson\, Brandon Stennet and more to come.    Food will be provided by the Elks\, but if you would like to bring a dish to share that will be great too! It will be a picnic style afternoon lunch and the Elks are smoking some briskets to go along with it.    ALL money raised will stay local and go to these families.    We will have a big moving truck set up in our parking lot\, asking for donations of anything\, doesn't matter what it is\, these people need it\, they lost everything they owned. The truck will be there Friday at 3:00\, donated by Beacons Trucking.    Please come join us and help these families\, they need it. Lets show them what the great people of the Texas Panhandle can do for them.

SUMMARY:Troop 80 Treeland
DESCRIPTION:Troop 80 Treeland celebrates 52 years of Christmas tree sales in 2011.         Hours are 9am - 9 pm Monday -Saturday and 1 pm -9 pm on Sunday.  Will be open  till we sell out or until 5 PM Christmas Eve.         This is the largest fundraiser for the boys in Troop 80.  Each family works 4 shifts to support the troop.    In 2010 the scouts went to on a ten day trip to Washington DC to the 100th National Boy Scout Jamboree for about $300.00 a person\, thanks to all who helped by buying their Christmas trees and bedding plants from Troop 80.

SUMMARY:The Great Turkey Drop With the HPFB
DESCRIPTION:Join Mix 94.1 as we team up with the High Plains Food Bank  to make sure that those families without food can have a turkey on their table this holiday season.    [caption id="attachment_148076" align="aligncenter" width="630"] liquid library[/caption]    It's the Great Turkey Drop!    Join us on November 9th!  Mix 94.1 will be live from the Walmart at 45 and Coulter taking turkey donations.    All you have to do is run inside Walmart and pick-up a turkey\, purchase it and then bring it back to us and the High Plains Food Bank will make sure that turkey goes to a great home.    If you don't want to purchase a turkey then a $10 donation to the High Plains Food Bank will purchase a turkey for a family in need.    Everyone deserves a turkey for Thanksgiving\, so help us out and drop a turkey off to Walmart on November 9th.    If you cannot make it to the 45th and Coulter Walmart we will have turkey drop locations at all Walmart locations in Amarillo.
