Events by EventfulUsing Native Plants in Urban Landscpes and Gardens
Neal Hinders of Canyons Edge Plants will be giving a very informative program about plants native to our region which are excellent choices for use in urban landscapes and gardens. Most of these plants are naturally drought resistant (requiring only natural snow and rainfall) and do not require use of pesticides or fertilizers. Some varieties actually act as natural magnets of beneficial insects which can help protect your non-native plants from insects harmful to them. This program is open to the general public. Cost is $2.00 per person if you are not a Wildcat Bluff member. No charge for our members.
