Every Child is a Unique Individual
“Every child is unique. Every child is an individual. Every child can learn.”
Unique Individuals is a new state of the art educational facility. They provide services to children six weeks old to thirteen years old. Unique Individuals is a private non-public school, offering before and after school care, infant and toddler classes, early preschool, preschool, and pre-kindergarten. They offer respite and therapy services as well as a get well room for children who are enrolled in their program. Their “mommy cams” give parents the peace of mind that their children are getting cared for properly and getting an exceptional early education at the same time.
Unique Individuals believes that children’s greatest period of development is from birth through approximately eight years of age. Their curriculum is based upon that concept. Recent research validates what they believe. At Unique Individuals, they believe it is absolutely imperative to present a wealth of materials, experiences and interactions, which becomes etched in the long-term memory of a child. Not only is the presentation of curricula by a professional educator exciting, it is also personalized to the individual child. Each child is given every opportunity to grow in an environment which is accepting, loving and fun! Children will grow intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically by cultivating a lifetime love of learning. Each area is carefully planned ensuring that the consistency and continuity for infant through pre-kindergarten creates the success-oriented learning environment that each child deserves. Unique Individuals recognizes the importance of building self-esteem at a very young age.
“We encourage a positive sense of self by using praise, encouraging independence and building on their skills. Beginning at the current skill level, we offer the children new challenges in which they can be successful. Our Character Building curriculum supports positive interactions and important social skills such as honesty, courage and responsibility. Manners are also encouraged in the classroom throughout the day. Children are nurtured in a warm and caring environment.”
