It looks like it is going to be a great weekend at the box office.  We have two family friendly movies.  One for the older kids in the family and one for the younger.

Super 8- Rated PG-13

Director J.J. Abrams and Producer Steven Spielberg have been teasing us with trailers about this movie.  It takes place in 1979, some future film students are filming with their Super 8 camera and catch a military train crash on film.  Once they start watching it back they realized that something escaped from that train.  The movie stars Elle Fanning (Dakota's little sister) and Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights).

Oh, you might want to stick around for the entire credits or you just might miss something important.

Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer- Rated PG

The kids will love this movie based on the Judy Moody book series.  Judy approaches her summer by assigning points to the cool things her and her friends do.  Aunt Opal (Heather Graham) is their babysitter in the movie.
