Family Had 6-Year Old Boy Kinapped to Teach Him A Lesson About Talking to Strangers

Four people were arrested and face felony charges after having a 6-year old boy kidnapped to teach him a lesson about being "too nice" to people.  The boy's aunt asked a co-worker to kidnap her nephew.

I understand trying to teach your child a lesson about stranger danger, however, I don't think this is the right way to go. There is a difference in teaching your child to be wary of strangers, and scaring and scarring your child for life. Telling the child he is going to be nailed to a wall or be sold into sex slavery, he's 6-years old.

I cannot even imagine how scared this child must have been. I cannot imagine wanting to put my child through that kind of terror.
