First Responders and Their Families Being Honored With a Free Meal This Sunday

This Sunday marks the 15th Anniversary of the September 11th attacks.  Some of the bravest men and women that day were the first responders.  When others were running away from the disaster the first responders were running towards it.  We found out just how strong our country was on that day, but we also realized the importance of our first responders.

Of course when we speak of first responders we are talking about police officers, firefighters, EMTs, Dispatchers etc.  These are those that are always first on the scent.

Southwest Church of Christ wants to honor those first responders in our area.

This Sunday, September 11th, they will be feeding first responders and their families from 11-1pm.  They are cooking up some delicious pulled pork and are asking all first responders and their families to have a free lunch with them.  If the first responders are working then the family members are still encouraged to attend.

Southwest Church of Christ is located at 4515 S. Cornell across from the Amarillo Town Club.

Plus everyone is invited to attend a special worship service at 9am lead by first responders.
