The Amarillo Public Library isn't just a place to go and read and check out books.  It is a place where you can find new worlds, new adventures, and of course lots of fun activities for people of all ages.  From toddlers to 100-year olds.  The Amarillo Public Library always has different activities, and the great thing about these activities is you get to learn while having fun.  November looks to be filled with fun and here are a few activities that are coming up.

Monday, November 7th, 6:30-8:30pm - East Branch Library 2232 E. 27th

Harry Potter Potions Class

if you are a Harry Potter fan then you need to make plans to come to the East Branch Library and have some fun.    Activities include potion making, stories and games.  It will be fun for the entire family.

President of the Library

In honor of election day, the Amarillo Public Library is holding their own election. Who should be president of the library?

The Candidates:

Big Nate:  I don’t have to do homework for this, right?
Junie B. Jones:  Girls Can Be Anything Boys Can Be!
Pete the Cat:  It’s all good!
Fancy Nancy:  The library needs someone très fancy

Thursday, November 10th, 4-5pm - North Branch Library 1500 NE 24th

Dinosaur Club

This event is great for ages 6-10.  They can enjoy dinosaur stories and make some cool crafts.
