Get Ready to Hunt, Make Music and Bowl with the Amarillo Public Library
The Amarillo Public Library always has some fun activities going on each week. Not only that, these activities are free. Here are a few events going on at the Amarillo Public Library.
Monday, August 1st - August 6
Library Scavenger Hunt - Stop by the Northwest Library at 6100 W. 9th any time during this week. You will be given information and sent on a scavenger hunt through the library. Once you have completed the list you'll have a chance to win a prize.
Tuesday, August 2nd 4-5pm
Straw Music - This is just another fun activity is going on at the Northwest Library. You'll have a chance to come to the library and make musical instruments out of straw. Once you are finished you'll have a chance to see if they work, then make beautiful music.
Thursday, August 4th 2:30-4:30pm
Lights Out Bowling - This even is going on at the Downtown Library, 413 SE 4th. During this even you'll see how bowling takes on a whole new dimension. Yes! They will have bowling in the dark.
These are just a few of the fun events coming up at the Amarillo Public Library. Oh and don't forget the Summer Reads program is still going on.
